After a triumphant County Championships,which saw Gloucester City top the medal table,a team of swimmers travelled North to Sheffield over Easter to compete in the Derventio Excel Level 1 Open Meet.

After tireless hours of process improvements, reams and reams of paperwork and endless enthusiasm and commitment from a whole troop of Gloucester City Swimming Club Volunteers they finally nailed the Swim21 Accreditation the club has sought for the last few years.

Club swimmer Sophie Brown competed in the 200m Backstroke at Ponds Forge in Sheffield.

Following the success in the County Championships Gloucester City topped the leaderboard with a fantastic medal haul.
Gloucester City topped the County Medal table with 186 Medals.these included 71 Gold,63 Silver and 52 Bronze.
This was a fantastic club achievement leaving Thornbury SC in 2nd place with 117 medals.
Many swimmers achieved AGBT , National QT and District times.
The club celebrated their amazing win with a party which included everyone who helps make the club so successful including the 2 club coaches Graham and Andy.
