Well, what a night for the youngesters! With 2 heats declared without swimmers and a number of swimmers moving up an age group,Gloucester showed great determination and team spirit to come away deserved winners at Stechford on Sat night. With Gloucester drawn in lane 1 Emma started us off with a win in the first event which set us on our way.The victories came thick and fast with a few impressive PB s . There were also some notable swims from of our newer team members who really stepped upto the mark.To everyones credit we did not have a single DQ all night ..which should please the coaches !! We had 24 first places and 9 second places .The evening finished off with 3 straight wins in the relays, including a run away victory in the Canon to a deafening noise from our team cheering on the side.Mikey Stalker's fist in the air on the final leg of the 12yr Boys Relay summed up the squads desire and commitment Gloucester ended on 236 points with Kingsbury in second with 213. Jane Seymour congratulated the team on their efforts telling them they had all given 110%. Well done to all those who took part.
